We’re looking for a Middleweight Designer to join one of the most awarded, innovative and vibrant full-service agencies in the world. Our client supports innovative ideas and designers that want to push creative boundaries. You will play a key role in an exceptional creative department, and demonstrate skills for design across all digital disciplines including email, web and app design.
The role:
- Delivering on projects from inception through to production
- Absorbing visual trends and deploying them in fresh and exciting ways
- Communicating with designers, working collaboratively with senior members of the creative department & members from the wider agency
- Formulating campaigns with the creative team
- Producing consistently excellent visual work and improving design standards
- Exploring a host of ideas, selecting the best ones and selling these to other members of the team and wider agency
- Encouraging others to share ideas and nurturing a creative environment
- Communicating productively with clients, team members and keeping them up-to-date with project milestones
- Creating direction for projects and guiding junior team members
- Contributing to the fortnightly inspiration sessions
- Aiming to win one advertising award every year
You, the Designer:
- 2 + years experience in design
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent knowledge of current design tools and software
- Confidence to be bold with work, think creatively and deliver impressive concepts
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Ability to produce functional prototypes and able to identify the correct tools to deliver on any project’s specific requirements
- Experience in producing documented specification guidelines for production
- High degree of expertise in digital design tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote/PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Figma, Sketch , Adobe XD, Webflow, After Effects, Cinema 4D, HTML5, CSS are optional skills
- Some limited animation skills would be an advantage
